Red Bank is the vibrant cultural heart of the Two River area, a lively riverfront borough of nearly 13,000 residents along the Navesink River, known for its walkable, brick-lined downtown and year-round energy. Ones to not miss being Semolina, SoGo Sushi, Johnny’s Pork Roll, and of course I am biased, but the best bagels can only be found at Bagel Station on Monmouth St. The town's cultural scene is anchored by the historic Count Basie Center for the Arts, birthplace of jazz legend Count Basie himself, along with the Two River Theater and Basie Center Cinemas, drawing world-class performers and keeping Red Bank alive with music, theater, and film throughout the year.

Red Bank's eight parks give residents plenty of green and riverfront space to enjoy, led by the recently revitalized and expanded Marine Park and Riverside Gardens Park along the Navesink, both offering walking paths, kayak launches, and open lawns, plus Count Basie Park with its ballfields, track, and playgrounds. The town's calendar stays busy with the beloved Summer Series in the Park featuring free movies, jazz, and fitness events, the Red Bank 5K Classic Race, a lively fall Halloween Parade, and Broad Street's famous holiday lighting celebration each December, when the street closes for a free concert before thousands of twinkling lights are switched on.
